Concrete, unlike some other construction projects, has a thickness to it. Projects that are done on a surface (flooring and painting) can be priced per square foot quite easily. There are many variables that come into play when it comes to pricing concrete projects (how much dirt needs to be removed or added, how much rebar is needed and what size, is demolition required, and many other variables). So, each job is priced based on its own requirements and not priced by square footage.
Each community’s association has different rules. In most cases, concrete projects done in the backyard rarely require permission from HOA if they are not visible over the fence of your property. For projects in the front lawn (driveways and driveway extensions), permission from HOA is required more often than not. Regardless, we advise that homeowners may ask their association if they are more comfortable doing so as we do not hold liability for any issues that could ever arise.
In order to prevent sprinkler heads from going off, we remove them (unscrew the heads) and cap off the lines where the head was. This redirects the water flow to the other heads and not under the concrete. However, if you wish to reroute the lines and place the heads elsewhere, we advise speaking to an irrigation specialist or we can refer you some upon request!

Although concrete cures at the surface level within a few hours, the slab consists of a thickness that can take up to 30 days to properly cure. We advise that you let your concrete cure for about 48 hours before allowing any foot traffic on it. As for driveways, we advise allowing the concrete to cure for 7 days before parking a vehicle on it.
When it comes to drilling into the slab, we advise allowing a full 30 days to pass before doing so. This allows the entire slab to cure thoroughly, not just the surface level.
Many people have heard of this practice and it is known as “moist curing”. It is important to water your slab as it begins curing (6 hours after pouring in most cases). You will notice some areas turn whiter than others as the slab begins releasing moisture. We advise letting gentle water run over the surface of your slab 2-3 times a day for at least one whole week. This allows the slab to retain moisture and cure evenly and thoroughly.
Once we receive confirmation that you wish to proceed with the project, we will work on getting a project schedule ready for you. Then, we will send over an agreement which states the details of the project, the project schedule, and the payment schedule. Unless the project exceeds $10,000.00, we do NOT take any major payment until the day we begin the project.
We accept all payment methods. If there is a specific payment method you plan on using and would like to double check with us, just let us know!
